At Youth Seeking Love Inc, we are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for young people seeking love, change, empowerment, and guidance. Our mission is to empower the youth in our community and help them overcome challenges they may face.
Our Story
Youth Seeking Love Inc was founded with the belief that everyone needs a support system to thrive. Our founder, Yana Harmon, started this organization after the loss of her son to gun violence. Having to experiencing the lack of resources available for families in a time of hardship and grief. A need of a reliable sense of support and care for the young that seeking guidance and love amongst our communities. Such tragic lead her to open doors that would later help demonstrate purpose.
Since our inception, we have been providing mentorship programs, counseling services, and community outreach initiatives to make a positive impact on the lives of the youth in Forest Park, Georgia.
Our Services
Our mentorship programs offer one-on-one guidance and support for personal and professional development. We also provide counseling services to create a safe space for youths to express themselves and receive professional guidance.
About me
I am Yana Harmon a young grieving parent who have faced unimaginable loss after losing my son to gun violence in Atlanta Ga, a place where I spent all of my life as a child. This tragedy has profoundly changed my life and fueled my passion for advocating for safer communities. I believe in the power awareness and education to prevent such senselessness acts of violence.
In honor of my son (Jaylen Shabazz Harmon), I strive with others affected by similar tragedies, sharing our stories to foster healing and change. I am committed to working towards a future where every child can grow in a safe environment free from fear.
As an organization, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every detail. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to healing together.
Through our community outreach initiatives, we aim to create a positive impact on the lives of young people through various programs and events. Volunteers can also get involved by applying to join our dedicated team.
